In November 2011, the Discovery Center, with the help of the NorthSky Nonprofit Network conducted four community focus groups to gather input on the future of the Discovery Center.

Discussion focused on programs, activities, and uses of the site and how to create a place that will attract community members and visitors on a regularly basis. We sought practical insights, as well as new and innovative ideas for the site.

Input gathered at these sessions will be used by the Discovery Center, and its four member organizations, to help determine the long range future of the property, including the creation an overall site plan and architectural drawings.
